Dear Ponies,
I hope you are able to get cozy and carve out some deliberate relaxing time as we hurl ourselves towards the end of the year! I’m going to make this message short and sweet. We have some extremely vibrant and evocative playlists this month! Come and experience both of them, and may I suggest, experience these routines OFTEN. One pony experience that I always look forward to is the 2nd or 3rd class where I am pretty familiar with the moves and the songs enough so that I can feel less in my head and more free to make it my own. For me to get there, I need to do the routine 2 or 3 times ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It’s going to be different for different ponies. As you know, we advocate for having the class you need, whatever that may be, cranky body rolls, elegant chassés, chill step touches, singing along, laughter, tears, feeling what is good. Please explore and try new things when you can. And as always, it’s your life, you do you!

Both Emilia and I (Michella) have participated in the fantastic Parakeet - a yearlong program for artists who have a book stuck in them that needs to get out. Whether it’s your first book or your fifth, Parakeet can help.
Parakeet was created by the formidable and kind Beth Pickens, who has almost two decades of helping writers of every experience level finish their manuscripts. Writing is a solitary art, but you can’t do it alone.
In Parakeet, they offer monthly workshops, monthly breakout groups, affinity groups, guest lecturers, writing groups, custom book recommendations, and four accountability partners throughout the year - this combined with 1:1 consultations has proven to draw out these stuck and necessary manuscripts!
