The only thing that has been getting me through another terrible, oppressive January is seeing community members really show up for one another and working together to resist ICE and the border patrol. Even after the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, and the government lying to our faces, and seeing militarized federal forces waging war on civilians in the streets of Minneapolis, people are showing up and fighting back. That is fucking inspiring. Let’s stand with Minnesota today!
We will be closed January 30th for the general strike / national shutdown. See you in the streets ponies!

Call your congresspeople and tell them to defund ICE, get rid evil Stephen Miller, Stop funding the genocide, so many things, 5 Calls makes it really easy to look up and call your congressperson.
Join an Adopt-a-Corner / Adopt-a-School groups to alert community members about the presence of ICE.

Absolutely powerful piece! The framing of collective action as what makes existnce meaningful is spot on. I've noticed in local organizing tht when people come together physically, there's this tangible shift in energy that beats back the isolation these systems rely on. The list of concrete actions really matters too, it converts that rage into something we can actually do.
